The Sports Gaming Act, passed by Tennessee Congress in early 2020, authorizes sports betting providers to launch online sports betting operations within the state. Hope it just isn't too trashed by then! Would be a real asset to the downtown in trying to attract younger people to stay in EV after university graduation.Tennessee has recently made big strides toward legalizing gambling. Again, overall beautiful addition to the city (much better than boat), but still will keep away health conscious, millennials, and business people who would like to eat at Tap House on lunch because would come away smoky! Once that city gets its act together due to smoking laws, and realizes that people go to other destinations instead, it will be better. Overall very fun, and good addition to the city, BUT smoke will keep younger people with money going to Cincinnati and Metropolis (or even Colorado)! Too bad still catering to elderly smokers with low incomes. Like boat, homeless still walking up to players asking for money.

First day, thrilled at great addition to Evv! Was five star at that point!!! By Sunday (48 hrs open), filthy!! Cigarette smoke everywhere, burn holes in carpets and on machines, smokers in 'non-smoking area' (which really is a few old machines in a corner, not separate!), restrooms were disgusting with non-flushing/backed up toilets, not towels or TP (hire RR attendant!). The good: Beautiful, small, single room, Vegas Style The four of us were 'winners.' Opening day, a few easy fixes: Have coffee/soda stations hire more staff, esp in Tap House' and to pick up glasses etc at machines-we tried to clear area by throwing away other people's trash and were told by a staff member to 'let people do their jobs so management would know to hire people?! Uh, we couldn't even put our drinks down by that point? Thought we were helping) reorganize floor so people not bumping chairs just to get by.
